Is a painted surface suitable for a studio?
Yes, the smooth varnish is easy to clean from dust and light dirt. It is resistant to normal wear and tear, so you don't have to worry about using it in a creative environment.
What about deflection with such a large shelf?
With an even load distribution (in boxes, rolls of fabric), the deflection is within the norm and does not affect functionality. However, we do not recommend it for heavy point loads without additional shelf reinforcement.
What is the difference between varnish and zinc?
This painted version is more aesthetic and ideal for clean interiors such as studios or offices. For workshops and basements with higher humidity, we recommend the galvanized version.
