Will the shelf really hold a set of tires?
Yes. The shelf has a load capacity of 175 kg, which is more than enough to hold 4 standard tires with rims. The large surface area of the shelf also ensures that the weight is well distributed.
What about deflection with such a large shelf?
With an even load distribution (in boxes, tires), the deflection is within the norm and does not affect functionality. However, we do not recommend it for heavy point loads such as aquariums or motors without additional shelf reinforcement.
Is assembly more complicated with such a large shelf?
The assembly principle is the same and very simple. However, due to the larger and heavier parts, it is more convenient and faster to assemble with two people.
